Beans with Dried Fruit

Beans are one of less demanding pulses, which decorate country gardens and usually make us happy with nice yield. Therefore it is not surprising that they are often used beside cabbage, turnip and potatoes for the preparation of home-made dishes. We add them to soups, stews or we prepare them in a salad, and in combination with dried fruit they have a special harmonious effect. For those who think that there is no good meal without meat, slices of optional smoked meat or Carniolan sausage can be added on request of a guest.
