Škofja Loka Millet Mush

Millet mush is one of the oldest home-made farm dishes, and according to some resources its origin is right in Škofja Loka. This also clarifies its name. A thick dressed dish made of millet porridge or flour is a light and low calorie dish without any seasonings. The only seasonings to this dish are salt and the added amount and type of dressing. Regardless of its modesty in seasonings, we are certain that it will arouse appetite to even a very demanding guest, especially when tasting millet mush that has been enriched with a slice of home-made smoked meat.
