Baked Pears with Cinnamon and Honey Sauce

Pears are beside apples and plums very valued fruit in the Škofja Loka countryside. People have eaten them fresh, cooked, baked or dried and have made different non-alcoholic and alcoholic fruit beverages from them since forever. They are excellent also in desserts. Baked succulent pears topped with honey sauce with delicious smell of cinnamon will certainly awaken taste buds of even a very demanding guest.
