Curd Cheese Spoon Dumplings with Brown Butter, Walnuts and Cheese

In the past people used ingredients they had at home to prepare dishes. Milk and various milk products were also always available and for this reason various dished were prepared from them. Spoon dumplings from home-made curd cheese were often on the menu because they are simple to prepare, filling and tasty at the same time. They can be offered as a starter or side dish, but we enriched them for even a better taste with home-made brown butter, cheese from the Škofja Loka Hills and walnuts.
