Visoko Roast

Visoko roast, tender inside and crispy outside, originates from Visoko in Poljanska dolina valley in the immediate vicinity of Škofja Loka. It used to be prepared by their own recipe at the Visoko homestead, but today it is often present also on plates in our homes. A joined piece of a pork chop in which carrots were inserted and lemon slices, garlic, parsley and laurel were added, and a few cloves were stuck on the top, will charm you with its taste.
